A new commercial bank named "Berekett Bank" has launched in the country, becoming the 22nd bank in the list of banks in Kyrgyzstan. This information was posted on the website of the National Bank.
Jarkynbek Sagyndykov has been appointed as the chairman of the board of the new bank, as reported by the regulator.
Sagyndykov has significant experience in the banking sector:
- in June 2024, he took the position of first deputy chairman of the board of "Bai-Tushum" bank;
- in September 2024, his candidacy for the role of chairman of "Bai-Tushum" was approved by the National Bank;
- prior to that, he headed OJSC "Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN".
The decision to establish the bank was made by the board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10, 2025.
