Present at the opening ceremony were the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, Ravil Zhoshbaev, as well as officials from the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Civil Aviation Agency.
The ambassador emphasized that the launch of the new route is an important step in strengthening ties between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as improving the transportation infrastructure of the region.
The new flight reduces the travel time between the capitals of the two countries to two hours. This opens new horizons for business and tourist trips, as well as for cooperation.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- Astana → Bishkek - Monday, Thursday, 14:00–16:50;
- Bishkek → Astana - Monday, Thursday, 17:50–19:15.
As noted by government representatives, this route will contribute to the further development of humanitarian, economic, and transportation relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
