The Ministry of Education and JICA Discussed the Development of Inclusive Education for Youth

Today, March 17, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nadira Jusupekova, met with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

During the meeting, initiatives for developing leadership skills among youth with hearing and speech impairments were discussed, as well as measures for their social integration. Within the framework of this program, training sessions have already been organized for individuals over 18 years old, and there are plans to send the most active participants for internships in Japan.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that inclusive classes are actively being created in the country, special programs for educators are being implemented, and online education is being organized for children with severe illnesses.

As a result of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and work together on the development of inclusive education in Kyrgyzstan.
