According to information provided by the Osh city administration, President Sadyr Japarov has instructed to complete the construction of all facilities that are currently idle.
Today, during a meeting, the mayor of the city, Janarbek Akaev, and the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, Nurdin Oruntaev, discussed current issues related to construction work in Osh with contractors. Business representatives reported on the resolution of previously arisen problems.
Oruntaev indicated that the process of completing construction will take place in two stages:
- allocation of funds for 9 facilities that are already completed will be carried out based on the conclusion of a special commission;
- 24 unfinished buildings, where work has been suspended, will be transferred to the relevant ministry for further completion of work in accordance with the law.
It was also emphasized that, by the president's directive, none of the initiated construction projects in Osh will be frozen. Their quality completion is ensured on a legal basis, and the financing of construction work and entrepreneurs' expenses will be covered by the republican budget and the stabilization fund.
After the meeting, the mayor and the minister conducted an inspection of the construction sites. Nurdin Oruntaev urged contractors not to worry and to continue their work. He assured that all contracts for each facility will be drawn up in strict accordance with the law, and he will personally monitor the progress of the work.
