According to Tynymseitov, the laboratory is engaged in checking the quality of fruits and vegetables that arrive at the markets. After the analyses, a corresponding quality certificate is issued.
“Currently, all fresh vegetables and fruits sold at the markets undergo laboratory checks. As a result of these analyses, a conclusion about their safety is formed,” he noted.
In addition, fish farms in the region are also monitored. Specialists track what the fish are being fed and, if necessary, send samples of the feed and the fish itself to the republican laboratory for analysis.
“Both the feed for the fish and the fish itself are checked to ensure that they do not pose a threat to human health,” T. Tynymseitov added.
He emphasized that with the arrival of spring, products from fish farms begin to be supplied to cafeterias and other public catering establishments, so control measures have been intensified.
As of today, four fish farms have been registered in the At-Bashinsky district.
