According to the local municipality, the installation of solar-powered street lighting has been completed on most streets of the city.
According to the municipal enterprise "Kyzyl-Kiya Tazalyk," 6 million 699 thousand soms have been spent at the current stage of the project. Modern lighting installations have been set up in the following key locations:
- Asanaliev, Lenin, and Abdullayev streets;
- BAM district;
- microdistricts 14 and 15;
- central street Vostok-2.1.
For further expansion of the lighting, the municipal enterprise has also purchased 170 sets of lighting poles, for which 8 million 500 thousand soms were allocated.
Each of the new installations is autonomous and includes the following elements:
- solar panel;
- LED (light-emitting diode) lamp;
- battery;
- control controller;
- metal pole with a concrete base.
