In the Suzak Territorial Hospital, thanks to the generosity of sponsors, a new incubator was provided for the neonatal intensive care unit, reported Elza Borgulova, a doctor in that department.

According to her, the new equipment will significantly reduce the mortality rate among premature infants.

“Our hospital was gifted a modern incubator by a Turkish sponsor. This device is intended for premature infants weighing more than 500 grams. It provides the necessary temperature and humidity, which allows us to prevent cases of mortality among these children,” the doctor noted.

In addition, Borgulova added that there are only 6 CPAP machines functioning in the neonatal intensive care unit, and thermal devices from the ministry are expected to arrive soon.

In 2025, the Suzak Territorial Hospital registered 3,956 births, resulting in the birth of 3,961 children. In the first two months of the current year, 591 infants were born in the hospital.
