The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the construction of the Manas-Bagysh highway is in an active phase.
The current project includes the creation of 12 kilometers and 400 meters of road, which will be laid on the site of the old railway line connecting the city of Manas and the village of Bagysh.
As part of this project, the dismantling of outdated railway structures is also being carried out, as well as the preparation and leveling of the foundation for the new road surface. "All construction work is being carried out in accordance with established technical standards and is on schedule. The road will be four lanes," the department reported.
