At 3:00 PM, the former head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiev, exited the Ministry of Internal Affairs building after questioning.
This morning, he returned to Kyrgyzstan and headed to the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he was questioned as a witness in an ongoing case.
It is worth recalling that on February 10, 2026, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree dismissing Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. At that time, he was receiving treatment in Germany.
Tashiev returned to the country on February 13, and just four days later, on February 17, he left again for abroad to continue his medical treatment.
