In the city of Osh, the Eid al-Fitr prayer was held in 75 mosques, dedicated to the holiday of Orozo Ait, according to information from the city hall.
At the festive prayer in the central mosque "Al-Bukhari," Mayor Janarbek Akayev and Chairman of the City Council Bolot Bayetov were present. They expressed their congratulations to the residents and wished them happiness and prosperity.
In his speech, the mayor emphasized that Orozo Ait symbolizes important values such as kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity, and calls on people to patience and mutual assistance. He expressed hope that this holiday would bring joy to every home and maintain peace and stability in the city and the country.
On the same day, a new mosque was laid at the site of the existing "Al-Bukhari" (Alai), which will meet modern requirements. As part of the ceremony, a sacrifice ritual was held, and a blessing was given to begin construction.
According to reports from the city hall, the festive events were held in an organized manner and in a calm atmosphere.
