This year, the Nowruz holiday is celebrated in all districts of the Chui region, with the main festivities taking place in the city of Kara-Balta. This was reported by the president's representative in the region.
The presidential envoy in the Chui region, Elkinbek Ashirbaev, also attended the event.
As part of the celebration, a large fair was organized, showcasing national dishes from various ethnic groups. Local residents and guests were able to learn about the cultural traditions of the peoples living in the region and enjoy a concert program.
Folk songs were performed on stage, national dances were held, and theatrical performances were shown, reflecting Nowruz as a symbol of spring renewal and the unity of peoples.
