From March 26 to March 31, 2026, traffic will be temporarily closed on the southern side of the intersection of D. Xiaoping Avenue and P. Lumumba Street in Bishkek. This was reported by the city administration.
During this period, as part of the road surface renewal works, the old asphalt will be milled using specialized equipment. After that, the first layer of new asphalt will be laid.
Additionally, during the repairs, manholes and stormwater drains will be repaired and leveled to the road surface.
The aim of these activities is to improve the quality of the road surface, enhance the comfort of vehicle movement, and reduce the risks of accidents. The work is expected to be completed within the timeframe set by the schedule.
The city administration urges residents and drivers to understand the temporary restrictions, choose alternative routes, and adhere to traffic regulations.
