More than a thousand residents of the Ak-Beshim village in the Kemin district of the Chui region are unable to obtain land and are standing in line, reported a resident of the village, Salamat Kozhokeldieva.

According to her, there are 49 hectares of land in the village that were supposed to be allocated for plots. "But the issue is still unresolved. More than a thousand people are in line.

My son joined the queue back in 1990. He is already 53 years old. He lives with four children in a one-room apartment. My daughter-in-law is also ill. If we were given land, we would build a house.

Both the decree and the decision have already been issued. We have gone through so many instances. No one is paying attention. We even handed our documents to Shaiyrbek Tashiev. He also left. It seems there is a lot of land, yet everyone lacks housing. There are houses where three daughters-in-law live in one home. Why not simply demarcate and allocate land to ordinary people?" she said.

In turn, local authorities reported that they would consider this issue.
