A meeting took place at the Ministry of Transport and Communications between Baktyluu Askar uulu Mombekov, the Deputy Minister, and Aiten Rustamova, the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The press service of the ministry reported this event.
The negotiations focused on the implementation of the project for the reconstruction of the Karabalta – Chaldovar road, which plays a key role in the development of international transport corridors, increasing the country's transit potential, as well as enhancing the safety and quality of road infrastructure.
Also participating in the discussion were Remi Duflo, head of the European Union delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, and the French Ambassador Nicolas Faye. All participants expressed their interest in strengthening cooperation for the development of sustainable and safe transport infrastructure.
