As noted by the ministry representatives, this project plays an important role in the development of international transport corridors, contributes to increasing the country's transit potential, and improves the safety and quality of road infrastructure.
During the meeting, the current stages of project preparation, issues of coordination between various government agencies and international partners, as well as further steps for its implementation were discussed.
Among the participants of the meeting were also the head of the European Union delegation in Kyrgyzstan, Remi Duflo, and the Ambassador of France, Nicolas Faye, who expressed interest in collaborating on the creation of a sustainable and safe transport infrastructure.
As a result of the discussions, the parties confirmed their intention to continue joint efforts in implementing this project.
