During the discussion, the minister emphasized the significant changes occurring in the school education system aimed at updating educational programs, integrating into the international educational environment, and implementing new initiatives. New educational standards and regulations have been introduced, and the next step will be the development of teachers' professional skills.

Remi Duflo highlighted that the transition to a 12-year education system is an important investment in the future of the younger generation. He noted that resistance to reforms can be considered a natural process that indicates real changes.

Additionally, the ambassador emphasized the importance of creating working groups as an effective tool for interaction and highlighted the opportunities of the Twinning program, expressing the European Union's readiness to continue supporting educational reforms in the country.

The parties also discussed the implementation of the project "Contract for Reforming the Education Sector of the Kyrgyz Republic".

As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to form a joint working group that will develop educational and methodological materials for foreign languages for students and teachers. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and consider new proposals after the current initiatives are completed.
