In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev held a meeting with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), during which joint projects were discussed. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
During the negotiations, the parties considered the implementation of several projects related to the city's heating and water supply systems, as well as Bishkek's participation in the "Green Cities" program proposed by the EBRD.
The participants of the meeting reached an agreement to support key city initiatives, including the master plan for the development of Bishkek until 2050, the construction of an eco-technological plant, as well as the implementation of greening activities and air quality improvement measures.
In 2025, it is planned to plant 19,000 trees, and in 2026 — about 50,000 seedlings.
The mayor emphasized the importance of EBRD support at all stages of project implementation and expressed hope for successful cooperation in the future.
