The meeting between Deputy Attorney General Zalkarbek Aknaazarov and the delegation of the International Monetary Fund took place recently.
During the discussion, participants touched upon important aspects such as the fight against corruption, organized crime, and tax offenses. Measures to increase the effectiveness of investigations related to the legalization of illegal income were also discussed.
The meeting emphasized the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2030, cooperation with financial intelligence agencies, as well as the investigation of complex transnational financial crimes and strengthening the institutional capacities of the prosecutor's office.
As a result of the meeting, participants highlighted the need to continue constructive dialogue and expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation.
