The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has announced changes to the rules for the stay of foreign citizens in the country.
The agency emphasized that these changes are aimed at optimizing migration processes, simplifying the mechanism for legalizing the stay of foreigners, as well as establishing clear and flexible conditions for entry and residence in the country.
One of the key innovations is the introduction of a special provision for ethnic Kyrgyz and their families.
According to this provision, foreigners who previously violated their stay periods and did not obtain the necessary documents can enter Kyrgyzstan once with the opportunity to legalize their status within 30 working days.
The Ministry urges both foreign citizens and the host side to strictly monitor compliance with the stay periods in Kyrgyzstan and to take the new changes into account when planning trips.
The new rules will come into effect ten days after their official publication.
