In the current season, spring field work has intensified in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region. The area allocated for arable land is 45,977 hectares. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the following crops are planned in this area:

spring wheat — 12,510 ha
winter wheat — 1,672 ha
red rice — 13 ha
peas — 61 ha
oats — 27 ha
leguminous crops — 26,939 ha
medicinal herbs — 58 ha
potatoes — 7,278 ha
vegetables — 88.5 ha
safflower — 7 ha
annual grasses — 116 ha
silage corn — 74 ha
perennial grasses — 9,407 ha
The Ministry of Agriculture is also providing farmers with the necessary equipment, fertilizers, and fuel and lubricants.
