From January 23 to 25, the national judo championship for men and women will take place in Osh. This event is organized by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The women's competitions will include weight categories: up to 48, 52, 57, 63, 70, 78 kg and over 78 kg. Meanwhile, men will compete in categories up to 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 kg and over 100 kg.
The main goal of the championship is to form the national team of Kyrgyzstan for 2026, as well as to select the best candidates for the judo team. Additionally, this event aims to strengthen unity among youth, promote physical culture and sports, and enhance the level of sportsmanship among participants.
