Razzak Beyshekeyev won bronze at the ranking tournament in Albania

In Tirana, the capital of Albania, an international ranking tournament in wrestling called Muhamet Malo–2026 took place. In the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions, Kyrgyz athlete Razzak Beyshekeyev won a bronze medal in the 72 kg category, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the first round of the tournament, Beyshekeyev had a tough match against Russian wrestler Magomed Barakhoev, where he won with a narrow margin of 7:6. In the next bout, he easily defeated another Russian, Kamil Akhmetvaleev, finishing the match with a score of 7:1.

In the quarterfinals, the Kyrgyz wrestler secured a confident victory over Kazakhstani Nikolai Khapko, winning 10:3, which allowed him to advance to the semifinals. Unfortunately, at this stage of the tournament, Beyshekeyev suffered a defeat against Iranian wrestler Mohammad Javad Rezaei, losing with a score of 1:5.

Nevertheless, in the match for third place, Razzak demonstrated excellent technique and confidence. He finished the bout early, pinning Kazakhstani Almatbek Amanbek, which earned him the bronze medal at this prestigious international tournament.
