On August 13, a presentation of the music video for the song “Kyrgyz Biy” will take place in Bishkek. Public and cultural figures of the republic, as well as representatives of the media, are invited to the event.
The video for “Kyrgyz Biy” was filmed over a period of 3 months. It features forgotten elements of traditional Kyrgyz dances. Hundreds of dancers from popular dance groups in the country participated in the filming. All the famous historical sites of Kyrgyzstan were included in the footage.
The lyrics of the song “Kyrgyz Biy” belong to the well-known master of words, akyn Kyialbek Urmambetov. Azamat Otunchev and Mirlan Niyazov worked on the music and arrangement, while the performance of “Kyrgyz Biy” was entrusted to Sultan Sadyraliyev. The creative team learned the original Kyrgyz dance elements during a trip to China (Urumqi).
Master classes were conducted by renowned choreographers and ballet masters, People's Artists of the PRC Bakhtiyar Murat uulu and Gulshaiyr Kurman kyzy. It is worth noting that the originality and scale of the national color amazed the entire China with its spectacle.
