

The World Muay Thai Championship in Bangkok took place from March 10 to 20, where Kyrgyz athletes demonstrated outstanding results, winning 12 medals in the junior and youth categories. This information was provided by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan.
The national team returned from the tournament with 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
Among the gold medalists:
Veronika Akhmatova (category up to 54 kg);
Diana Zainitdinova (category up to 57 kg);
Nurdooolot Borubekov (category up to 63 kg);
Robert Pak (category up to 67 kg);
Bogdan Proshin (category up to 75 kg);
Eldar Yeshbaev (category up to 81 kg).
The silver medals were awarded to:
Erkaim Aibekova (category up to 60 kg);
Adis Mirbolotov (category up to 63 kg).
The bronze medals were won by:
Mekin Asanaliev (category up to 57 kg);
Alikhan Zakirov (category up to 67 kg);
Rashid Magomedov (category up to 71 kg);
Raul Rakhatebek (category up to 71 kg).
