The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Union of Motorboating (Union Internationale Motonautique, UIM) have signed a memorandum aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of motorboating, event tourism, and the organization of international sports events. The ministry's press service reported this.
According to the document, it is planned to organize international motorboating competitions in Kyrgyzstan, including stages of the UIM F1H2O World Championship.
The parties also confirmed their readiness to support the development of motorboating in the country, including the establishment of a national federation.
Furthermore, it is emphasized that the conditions of Lake Issyk-Kul are ideally suited for holding high-level competitions, which can attract tourists and enhance Kyrgyzstan's international status in the field of sports.
