Edil Baysalov and Olga Lyubimova Discussed the Future Cooperation Between the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia in the Cultural Sphere

On October 30, a meeting took place in Bishkek between Edil Baisalov and Olga Lyubimova, the Minister of Culture of Russia, who arrived on an official visit at the head of the Russian delegation. This was reported by the press service of the government.

During the meeting, the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the field of culture and humanitarian relations were discussed.

Edil Baisalov emphasized that cultural interaction between the two countries is crucial for improving mutual understanding and trust between the peoples.

The parties also noted the successful holding of cultural days, such as the Culture Days of Kyrgyzstan in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which were timed to the centenary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, as well as the ongoing Culture Days of Russia taking place in Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the discussions, both sides expressed their intention to continue strengthening cultural ties and developing humanitarian cooperation, based on the spirit of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
