According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, during the meeting he discussed issues related to the development of the educational sector and support for teachers. Mamataliyev noted that this year an increase in teachers' salaries is planned, but this is just the beginning.
“This year we plan to raise teachers' salaries. However, this is only the first step, and we will continue to provide comprehensive support. The Jogorku Kenesh, within its powers, will actively work on strengthening the legislative framework aimed at developing education and improving working conditions for teachers. We will support all initiatives that contribute to this. It is time to make changes to the relevant laws; this is a necessity of modernity,” he stated.
Mamataliyev also touched upon the topic of unpleasant incidents involving schoolchildren, emphasizing that the responsibility for raising children should not rest solely on teachers.
“We cannot forget that the foundation of upbringing is laid in the family. If parents, teachers, and society actively participate in this process, we will raise a wonderful generation,” the speaker added.
