In Bishkek, from March 1 to May 1, 2026, a competition called "Clean City" will take place, aimed at collecting plastic waste. This was announced in a statement from the Jogorku Kenesh.
The winner will be the school that collects the most plastic, and its participants will receive significant prizes.
The initiative is being carried out with the support of the Jogorku Kenesh, the city administration, as well as the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports and the Red Crescent Society of Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, the chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, announced his intention to provide financial assistance from his reserve fund.
