In the Ton District, employees of the acclimatization and fish breeding department released 582 thousand trout fry into the rivers flowing into Lake Issyk-Kul.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the fry were distributed as follows:
* Ak-Terek River - 80 thousand
* Ton River - 150 thousand
* Kekilik River - 50 thousand
* Tamga River - 50 thousand
* Jetı-Ögüz River - 50 thousand
* Karakol River - 50 thousand
* Kara-Suu River - 32 thousand
* Jyrgalan River - 60 thousand
* Tyup River - 60 thousand
This event was conducted under the supervision of a commission that included representatives from the Ton District Administration, the tourist-ecological police, as well as employees of the environmental and technical oversight service, scientific specialists from the Biology Institute of the National Academy, and staff from the Issyk-Kul State Nature Reserve.
