On March 12, 2026, in the Ton district, the release of juvenile Issyk-Kul trout into rivers that flow into Lake Issyk-Kul took place. The event was organized by employees of the Regional Acclimatization and Fish Breeding Department (Station) under the Department of the Fishery Complex.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ton District State Administration, the Tourist and Environmental Police, employees of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, as well as scientific specialists from the Institute of Biology of the National Academy of Sciences and staff from the Issyk-Kul State Nature Reserve.

During the event, 582,000 juvenile Issyk-Kul trout were released to stock the water bodies of the region.

The distribution of the juveniles among the rivers was as follows:

• Ak-Terek — 80,000

• Ton — 150,000

• Kekilik — 50,000

• Tamga — 50,000

• Jetı-Ögüz — 50,000

• Karakol — 50,000

• Kara-Suu — 32,000

• Jyrgalan — 60,000

• Tyup — 60,000
