The event took place as part of a commission that included representatives from the Ton district administration, tourist police, the ecological and technical supervision service, as well as scientists from the Institute of Biology of the National Academy of Sciences and staff from the Issyk-Kul State Reserve.
During the event, 582,000 fry of Issyk-Kul trout were released to stock the water bodies. Their distribution among the rivers is as follows:
• 80,000 — Ak-Terek River;
• 150,000 — Ton River;
• 50,000 — Kekilik River;
• 50,000 — Tamga River;
• 50,000 — Jeti-Oguz River;
• 50,000 — Karakol River;
• 32,000 — Kara-Suu River;
• 60,000 — Jyrgalan River;
• 60,000 — Tyup River.
