"Post Bank" plans to offer a wide range of basic banking services, applying an agency model in accordance with the current legislation and regulatory acts of the NB KR.
The National Bank will review the submitted documents in accordance with the established procedure and within the timeframes provided by law.
A license for banking activities will be issued only after a comprehensive assessment of the submitted materials, including verification of compliance with capital requirements and other criteria necessary for opening a bank.
In 2025, the National Bank has already issued permits for the opening of six new commercial banks: CJSC "Berekete Bank," CJSC "Alma Finance Bank," CJSC "Muras Bank," CJSC "Asman Bank," OJSC "Kylım Bank."
According to the government decree of the Kyrgyz Republic dated April 8, 2022, No. 203, "Kyrgyzpost" was transformed into an open joint-stock company, with 100% of the shares remaining in state ownership.
Based on the postal management, a network of branches of OJSC "Kyrgyzpost" was created, and a unified management system for regional postal structures was implemented, covering accounting, tax, and management accounting. Currently, OJSC "Kyrgyzpost" operates as a strategic entity, ensuring full self-sustainability and providing the population with important postal and financial services.
