At a meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, where the representative of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Myktybek Kalandarov, spoke, the deputies learned about the problems faced by farmers in the field of artificial insemination of livestock.
According to Kalandarov, the ministry has intensified its efforts to address these issues, and currently, there are 302 points operating in the country that are engaged in artificial insemination.
Deputy Alisher Kozyuev asked about the condition of pastures.
In response, Deputy Minister Zhanibek Kerimaliev stated that the situation with pastures leaves much to be desired.
“In one of the regions, a pilot project was initiated for sowing pastures with nano humates. If the results are positive, two options are planned to be used. Previously, funds for pastures were collected, but now this money is not coming in. They should be directed exclusively to the development of pastures. All pasture committees were supposed to be transferred to the ayil okmotu, but I cannot provide exact figures on this issue. It was expected that they would fully transition to the GP. Nevertheless, the state provides support. Due to the dishonesty of local pasture committees, not all pastures have been sown,” he noted.
