According to trading information from the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of platinum futures has set a new historical record, surpassing the $2,900 mark.
As of 1:44 PM Moscow time, the April 2026 platinum futures rose by 5.92%, reaching $2,903.5 per troy ounce. At the same time, the March 2026 palladium futures increased by 6.38%, amounting to $2,157.1 per troy ounce.
Previously, historical highs were also recorded for gold and silver futures, which exceeded $5,100 and $110 per troy ounce, respectively.
