
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Industrial Policy, Architecture, and Construction, Deputy Ulanbek Zhaanbaev asked the Deputy Minister of Construction about the current prices for apartments in Bishkek and Osh.
Talantbek Imanakun uulu, the Deputy Minister, reported that the cost of housing offered by private construction companies in Bishkek ranges from $800 to $3000 per square meter, while in Osh, this figure is between $700 and $1500 per square meter.
Additionally, the deputy clarified what prices are set for budget employees receiving housing through the State Mortgage Company OJSC.
In response to this question, the Deputy Minister indicated that the State Mortgage Company OJSC has its own management, and the Ministry of Construction does not participate in forming their pricing policy, focusing only on quality control of the constructed facilities.
