











As a result of a joint inspection conducted by the staff of the State Tax Service and representatives of the Manas Internal Affairs Department, tobacco products without excise stamps were discovered in the central market.
According to the press service of the State Tax Service, during this operation, 9,695 packs of tobacco products with a total value of 1,163,400 soms were seized. Additionally, 24 packages of illegal electronic cigarettes and 33 units of a substance resembling snus were found.
The seized products were processed in accordance with the law, and the case materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
The State Tax Service reminds that any resistance to the lawful demands of officials during tax control may result in liability under current legislation.
The fine for selling up to 200 units of excise goods without excise stamps is 100,000 soms. If the quantity exceeds 200 units, criminal liability may apply, including imprisonment for up to 7 years.
