The employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a raid in Bishkek and discovered a significant amount of excise goods being sold without excise stamps. The press service of the agency reported that during the inspection, about 13,000 units of beverages were found, including alcoholic, energy, and sugary drinks.

Reports were drawn up at the scene, and the case materials were sent to law enforcement agencies for further investigation in accordance with local legislation.

The State Tax Service reminded that strict measures are in place for the sale of products without excise stamps. In the case of selling up to 200 units, the fine is 100,000 soms, while selling more than 200 units may lead to more serious consequences, including imprisonment for up to 7 years.

Entrepreneurs are strongly advised to avoid selling excise goods without excise stamps and to carefully verify their authenticity. Citizens are advised to pay attention to the presence of excise stamps on alcoholic products and to immediately report any suspicious goods to the tax authorities.

For the convenience of checking information about excise stamps, a special service has been implemented in the mobile application "Salyk.kg," which allows users to scan stamps or enter data manually.
We remind you that alcoholic and tobacco products must be labeled with digital tags in Data Matrix format, and more detailed information about them can be obtained through the "Teksher" application.
