The airline Vietjet Qazaqstan (QAZAQ AIR) carried out its first international flight on the route Astana - Bishkek on November 10. The new route will significantly simplify and expedite travel between the capitals of the two countries and will also contribute to strengthening business and cultural ties.

Adilbek Umraliev, the head of the airline, emphasized that the choice of this route is based on both economic and historical ties between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
He noted: "The economic relations between our countries are close. Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and we operate within a single customs union. Additionally, there are kinship ties and ethnic flows between our peoples. This route has become the first in our network connecting the capitals, and we see its great potential. The schedule is already open for six months, and expansion is planned for next year."

Suleiman Astanov, the co-pilot, shared his impressions of the flight, noting that it went without any incidents:
"The flight was excellent, everything went smoothly. There was a little cloud cover during takeoff and descent in Bishkek, but it did not cause any problems. We were warmly welcomed, and the whole process was comfortable."

Flights will be operated on a modern Q400 (Dash 8) aircraft with a capacity of 86 passengers. Francesc Torres, the managing director of production at Vietjet Qazaqstan, highlighted the advantages of this aircraft:
"The cabin is very comfortable, with leather seats and space between rows creating comfort. Two rows of seats on each side are suitable for families, and there is also space for hand luggage. Modern engines provide lower fuel consumption and increased safety."

Flights on the Astana - Bishkek - Astana route will be operated twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays. Tickets can be purchased on the website vietjetqazaqstan.kz, as well as at sales offices and partner agencies of the airline.
