Starting today, October 26, 2025, Armenia is ready to facilitate the transit of trucks between Turkey and Azerbaijan. This new route passes through Margara, Yeghegnadzor, Sisian, and Goris. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting of the permanent commissions of the National Assembly.
“If a truck from Turkey arrives at the checkpoint in Margara, we can organize its passage to Azerbaijan at any time. Our roads towards Goris and Kornidzor are in excellent condition. We have the necessary infrastructure in Kornidzor that will allow us to process trucks in both directions,” Pashinyan noted.
According to the Prime Minister, this decision is a response to the actions of Azerbaijan.
“We are lifting transit restrictions just as Azerbaijan did for us,” he added.
