AgroDialog – 2026. A farmer from the Ak-Talinsky district preserves and develops the Kyrgyz breed of horses

Since 2005, a farmer from the Ak-Talinsky district has been actively engaged in breeding Kyrgyz horses, which became known at the forum "AgroDialog – 2026." Over the years, he has consistently increased the herd and worked on maintaining the purity of the breed.

As a result of his diligent work, in 2025, his farm received official breeding status.

The Kyrgyz horse is known for its remarkable ability to adapt to mountainous and harsh climatic conditions. Even with a snow cover of 40–50 cm, these animals can independently find food and move easily across challenging landscapes.

The farmer is actively taking measures to increase the population of Kyrgyz horses to prevent the loss of this unique breed. It is characterized by high resistance to diseases, can withstand cold well, and requires minimal feed costs, making it particularly suitable for the conditions of mountainous regions.

Currently, his farm has more than 50 horses. It is worth noting that the stallions have an excellent protective instinct and can defend the herd even from wolves and other predators.

This initiative significantly contributes to the development of livestock farming in the country, the preservation of the genetic diversity of the Kyrgyz horse, and the transmission of this unique breed to future generations.
