The Deputy Director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu," Dastan Usubakunov, announced on the air of Birinchi Radio about the plans to open the Kocchor railway station on the Balykchy–Kocchor line by the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the lower layer of the tracks has already been installed, and now it is necessary to complete the work on laying the upper layer. "President Sadyr Japarov noted that over the past three decades, not a single meter of railway has been built. The opening of the Kocchor station for this significant holiday can be considered an important achievement for 'Kyrgyz Temir Zholu,'" Usubakunov added.
