The Ministry of Energy is actively developing "green" energy, continuing the construction of hydropower facilities, according to information received from the department.
Currently, the Ortokoy Hydroelectric Power Station project is in its final stages. Work is underway to create the necessary infrastructure for integrating the station into the national energy system.
At the construction site, the development of access roads and the preparation of foundations for the 110 kV power line supports are ongoing. Work on creating pits and installing equipment is nearing completion.
The excavation of the 950-meter-long diversion tunnel has also been successfully completed. The installation of generator equipment is ongoing in the machine hall, including the installation of the first hydro turbine.
The Ortokoy Hydroelectric Power Station is expected to be commissioned this year, which will significantly increase electricity production and enhance the reliability of power supply in the country.
