Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan Sign Cooperation Documents in the Field of Productivity

The first international forum titled "Central Asia: From Productivity to Prosperity. Regional Dialogue" took place in Tashkent.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the event was attended by Iskender Asylkulov, Deputy Minister, and Aigul Sharshenova, Head of the Project Development Department in the field of industry.

As a result of the forum, several important documents were signed:

— A Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan regarding cooperation in the field of productivity;

— The Tashkent Declaration on Cooperation in the Field of Productivity in Central Asia.

Within the framework of the forum, working trips were also organized to the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, where participants were able to familiarize themselves with the work of the Uzbek-Chinese industrial park under construction, as well as with factories producing aluminum profiles, household appliances, and vehicles.
