According to information presented by the head of the Central Election Commission, Tynchtykbek Shainazarov, at a briefing, by 16:00 more than 1 million 73 thousand 444 voters had cast their ballots in the country.
The leading districts in voter turnout were electoral districts No. 1, No. 10, No. 13, and No. 30, where the number of voters exceeded 30%.
Shainazarov emphasized that the lowest turnout was observed in the Sverdlovsk, Pervomaisky, Lenin, and Oktyabrsky districts of the capital, where it was less than 20%.
Compared to the previous elections in 2021, by 16:00 on the current day, the number of voters had increased by 200 thousand, reaching 813 thousand 176 voters, which is about 22.47%. Thus, the turnout in these elections is 2.5-3% higher than last time.
