“My father's acquaintance with my mother, the unification of their lives, is a true love story worthy of a separate narrative. In the autumn of 1978, when the city was filled with aromas and the trees began to turn yellow, my father saw my mother just once and immediately understood that she would be his destiny,” he recounts.
At that time, Kümüş worked at the famous shoe factory "Cholpon." As usual, after finishing her shift, she left the factory. It was then that, in a service vehicle, a UAZ, my father made a decision that changed their lives and took her to the village of Köprü-Bazar.
Temirkul Botukeev was a driver and knew his job well, but as he admits, that journey became something more—it opened the doors to a new life and the creation of a family.
Kümüş became part of a large and friendly family. Since then, their life together has been filled with joy and harmony. The couple raised four sons and two daughters, and each of them became independent.
In 2023, they performed a minor pilgrimage, which brought them peace of mind and grace to their home. Today, they are loving parents and happy grandparents, surrounded by 12 grandchildren.
Interestingly, their names complement each other perfectly: Temirkul translates to "iron soul," while Kümüş means "silver." Friends often joke that it’s as if two metals met and bonded forever.
When Kümüş first came to her mother-in-law's house, she was surprised when her grandfather jokingly said "Shayloo," addressing her grandmother. She thought it was about elections and even asked her mother-in-law when they would take place. After learning the truth, she was embarrassed about the situation for a long time, and every time elections occur in the country, she smiles as she remembers this incident.
“I am very proud to have such wonderful parents,” Bakhtiyar noted.
