According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected in Kyrgyzstan on January 16 and 17. During these days, snowfall will be observed in some areas, and certain regions may face intense precipitation. Wet snow is also forecasted to accumulate on wires and trees, and fog will be felt in the air. Snow drifts and ice will form on the roads, and snowdrifts may occur in the mountains.

From January 17 to 19, a sharp drop in temperature is expected. In the Chui and Talas valleys, nighttime temperatures may reach -9…-14°, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between -1…-6°. In Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken, nighttime frosts will range from -2…-7°, while daytime temperatures may vary from -2° to +3°. In the foothills, nighttime temperatures will drop to -11…-16°, and during the day will be -2…-7°. In the Issyk-Kul basin, nighttime frosts will be between -7…-12°, and during the day from -4° to +1°. In the Naryn region, in agricultural areas and in the mountains, nighttime temperatures may fall to -23…-28°, while daytime temperatures will be -9…-14°. In high-altitude areas, nighttime temperatures may reach -26…-31°, during the day from -9…-14°, and in the Suusamyr Valley, nighttime frosts may be -30…-35°, with daytime temperatures up to -11…-16°.
Such changes in weather may negatively affect the operation of communal, energy, and telephone services. In heavy precipitation, visibility on the roads will significantly worsen, leading to difficulties in transportation movement.
