On January 21, a meeting took place in Bishkek between Jumakadyrov uulu Seitek, the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, and Duflo Remi, the head of the European Union delegation in the country.
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the meeting discussed important aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union in the field of consular issues. The main focus was on developing dialogue on visa policy, protecting citizens' rights, and exchanging experiences in the field of digitalization and modern methods of managing migration processes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in maintaining regular contacts and further strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union.
