The Mayor of Bishkek met with residents of the new territories of the Sverdlovsk district

During the meeting, important issues related to social infrastructure were discussed, such as problems with water supply, sewage, road conditions, and lack of public transport, as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

Regarding transport issues, the head of the Transport Department, Ulanbek Beishenbaev, reported on plans to introduce new 8-meter buses, but this will only happen after the road repairs are completed.

Mayor Aibek Junushaliev noted that road repair work will not begin until the issues with water supply and sewage are resolved. He also mentioned a developed program for the development of newly annexed areas until 2030, with funding of about 9 billion soms, of which 2.5-3 billion soms have been attracted this year.

Additionally, issues related to land plots were discussed. The mayor emphasized that during the construction of roads, illegal economic structures and foundations will be dismantled; however, previously identified illegal residential houses will not be demolished.

He also warned that further construction of illegal buildings will be unacceptable.

As a result of the meeting, the mayor instructed the responsible services to take measures for the prompt resolution of the stated problems and to establish deadlines for the completion of these tasks.
