The assailants used physical violence that threatened the life and health of the victim, causing him bodily harm. They then tied his hands and feet with rope, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department of Chui Region.
As a result of the attack, the criminals seized 165,000 soms that were in a safe, as well as a Samsung mobile phone. After committing the crime, they fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident in accordance with Article 207 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the operational-search activities conducted by the officers of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Chui Region, and the Toktogul District Department of Internal Affairs, the suspects were identified. They turned out to be B.M. and J.A., both born in 1995, as well as R.M., born in 1978. All three were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the organizer of the attack is a relative of the victim through his ex-wife, from whom he is currently divorced. The suspects believed that a large sum of money from the sale of a land share was in the safe; however, in reality, most of the money was in a bank deposit.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to thoroughly and objectively investigate this case.
