The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held an introductory meeting to learn about the work of the National Investment Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. The relevant information was provided by the government’s press service. During the visit, Kasymaliev met with the Fund's employees, emphasizing the need for coordinated and effective work of the institution. He noted that the Fund should demonstrate high performance in attracting investments and implementing large economic projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the country's economy.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was presented with key investment initiatives in areas such as hydropower, agriculture, and industry. Special attention was given to supporting small and medium-sized business projects, which are crucial for job creation, regional development, and forming a competitive economy.
According to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the National Investment Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic," the presidential decree dated June 14, 2024, No. 155, and the Fund's charter approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated November 5, 2024, No. 666, the main tasks of the Fund's activities are to enhance the efficiency of managing the enterprises under its jurisdiction, ensure their sustainable growth, and attract long-term investments through access to domestic and international financial markets.
